Solar Liberty Foundation

Started in January 2008, this non-profit organization is committed to provide people in rural areas with renewable energy resources such as solar electrification, solar water filtration and solar cookers. From Haiti to Liberia, Solar Liberty is working to find creative solutions for a better living for the people in less developed nations. Click here for a listing of their current projects. Some of the projects they are working in Haiti are Solar Electrification for a Partners in Health Clinic located in Hinche, Solar Cookers in Port-au-Prince as a result of the earthquake, Solar Electrification system for the Notre Dame De Lourdes Foyer Orphanage in Port-au-Prince and for the Community Kitchen project and for the Relocation of Tent City in Haiti.
